About Pack 25

Pack 25 meets at Big Cypress Elementary(Golden Gate Estates) in Naples, Florida, and is run locally by adults who have volunteered their time and energy to bring the Cub Scouting program to the boys involved in Scouts. The Boy Scouts of America have trained us in how they expect the program to be handled. The rules governing us are followed by all Scout Packs and Troops. We work towards teaching the boys about the surrounding world through Activity badges and Achievements that are listed in the different books of ranks.

Most Dens meet every other week for 1 to 1 ½ hours. Also, once a month all the Dens and their families get together at a Pack meeting to receive the awards they have been working on. The Pack meetings have different activities going on that promote good sportsmanship and are loaded with fun.

The uniform requirement for Cub Scouts (Tiger, Wolf and Bear): Cub Scouts need to have the blue uniform shirt with the appropriate patches sewn on, neckerchief and neckerchief slide, Cub Scout belt, and Cub Scout socks. Please refer to the Uniform guide.

The uniform requirements for Webelo Scouts: Webelos Scouts should wear the tan uniform shirt with the appropriate patches sewn on, neckerchief and neckerchief slide, Cub Scout belt, and Scout socks. Please refer to the Uniform guide.

All boys should have their own book in the rank they are working on as some things need to be completed at home. The boys need to bring these books to every Den meeting.

Volunteering Cub Scouting is a non-profit volunteer led program. The leaders in the Pack are all parents of Cub Scouts. The Pack prepares the leaders by taking them to local training. There is also online training available for some subject matters. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you have the best support available – US! We have leaders at every level to answer any questions or provide you the support you need. In order to have a great program – we need your help! On top of donating your time, we have a yearly fundraiser – Official Boy Scout Popcorn. This is a nationwide yearly sales program and it is the main source of funds for the operation of the Pack. The Pack needs these funds to pay for patches, awards, camping fees, activities, derby cars, trophies, leader training, and supplies.
